We are really easily reachable on public transport. If travelling by train - alight at Sittingbourne station and there is a taxi rank outside. We are then a 15-20 minute drive up to Kingshill Farm.

I don't drive, how do I get to Elmley?

Yes, we always recommend pre-booking your taxi as we are quite remote. Some taxis may require payment upon booking. Use our postcode ME12 3RW;

Do you have local taxi companies you recommend?

Our entrance gate may be closed when you arrive but please buzz our intercom so we can let you through. If you are staying overnight with us you will be given a code should you need to buzz yourself in and out throughout the wedding. Please note we do have a 2 mile entrance track once through the gate, we kindly ask you to drive slowly within our 15mph speed limit as we have roaming livestock and wildlife.
Please note if you are not staying overnight our entrance gate will be locked at 12.30am, please ensure you book a taxi for midnight to depart the site.

Will your gate be open when we arrive?

Yes, we'd kindly ask this to be picked up by 11am the morning after the wedding when we re-open to the public and other guests.

We aren't staying overnight, can we leave our car onsite overnight?

As we are a National Nature Reserve we do not allow dogs onsite, we do have some kennels local to us if you do need to arrange boarding services.

Can I bring my dog?

Our licensed bar that runs from 7.30pm-midnight is cashless. We accept card or contactless payments only.

Does the evening bar take cash?

We don't have a shop onsite so please do double check you have packed everything as we are quite remote! The closest shops and petrol station are a 10 minute drive from Kingshill Farm.

What is Elmley?

We have baby changing facilities onsite as well as ramp access within the venue spaces. We'd recommend a pram with larger wheels if possible as we have shingle and uneven ground onsite. We have plenty of shady spots onsite.

I'm attending with a baby, is there anything I need to know?

We are an off-grid site so have our own power system. This is limited so where possible please do iron shirts and steam dresses beforehand. We have limited facilities onsite for this which is shared amongst all guests.

Is there wifi and power onsite?

Once you arrive at Elmley please pop to Kingshill Barn lobby, a member of the Elmley team will meet you and check you in.

We are staying overnight, how do we check-in to our accommodation?

That's no problem, we will issue you with self-check in details on how to find your accommodation. We will issue you with our contact details should you have any issues. Our team will also be onsite until the evening.

We are arriving late in the evening and staying overnight, is this ok?

You'll be given Elmley's contact details should you have any questions throughout your stay and our friendly team will be able to help.

Who do we contact with any questions during our stay?

Check-in is from 3pm and check-out is at 10.30am. Breakfast the morning after the wedding is included in your accommodation and available from Kingshill Barn from 8.30am so be sure to grab something delicious before you head home.

What time is check-in and check-out?

We unfortunately don't allow you to bring your own tent to camp onsite but we do have our Bell Tent Village you can book to stay in.

Can I bring my own tent to camp?

We are a working farm and nature reserve so we would recommend;
      -Some flat shoes
      -A torch, or use the flash on your phone
      -Check the weather, suncream, mozzie spray, an etc 
      -Refillable water bottle
      -Towel (If staying in the Village Bell Tents)
