The Friends of Elmley is a group for those who enjoy Elmley and wish to support our work.
Benefits
Elmley Nature Reserve changes through the seasons. Each visit offers a new and exciting exciting experience, from watching the newly hatched lapwing chicks tentatively finding their feet in April, to the soaring Short Eared Owls in December.
For only £3.10 a month a subcription provides unlimited access for 12 months, allowing you to explore the Reserve throughout the year, making the most the seasonal changes.
We welcome families and are committed to encouraging a love of nature from a young age. Up to four children under 16 are included with each family membership.

How to Join
New Memberships are temporarily paused whilst we review memberships.
Volunteer
Volunteers are always welcome to help with conservation work, wardening, wildlife survey counts and maintenance of the visitor facilities. Our regular group of volunteers meet on a Monday. If you are unable to make a regular commitment we often hold one-off work parties, often at weekends.
We also offer residential volunteer placements, and are happy to host work experience placements and research projects.
