If you are arriving past 7pm, our team will issue you a self-check in email with details on how to find your accommodation. There is parking at the cottage so please drive round slowly.

Please use the map and our self help guides for further information. Our team will be available onsite from 8am-7pm should you have any questions or want to come and say hello.
In the kitchen you will find a complimentary welcome pack, including; bread, milk, butter, local apple juice, marshmallows, breakfast tea and freshly ground coffee.
All taps in the Cottage and around the farmyard provide safe drinking water so we encourage you to bring a reusable water bottle.
Downstairs offers an open living space and kitchen, making the most of the views over the marsh. The oven is a gas rangemaster, and in the utility room is a microwave and toaster, as well as 60/40 fridge freezer. The kitchen contains all pots and pans and other kitchen bits you would need. Please leave everything as you would expect to find it.
Outside you will find the gas BBQ (during the summer months) for you to enjoy during your stay.
Please separate out rubbish and recycling and leave it in the utility room, we will pick this up or ask one of the team. Here on the reserve we have:
-General waste (including food waste)
-Recycling (paper, cardboard & plastics)
-Glass
Replacement black sacks are found under the sink with the cleaning materials.
There is also a dish washer fitted in the utility room. There is a washing up sink in the kitchen, and also in the utility room, with environmentally friendly washing up liquid and sponges.
Tablets are provided for the dishwasher and washing machine. Please note there is no tumble dryer.
There are five bedrooms in the cottage, one downstairs and four upstairs. Unless twins are requested beforehand, the rooms will each have a double or kingsize, with one room having two singles. If your stay is for a few days, our housekeeping team are happy to come in and change the bedding for you. We require 24 hours notice, but please do ask a member of our team for costs and details.
The cottage has two family bathrooms, and one en-suite for the master bedroom. The upstairs bathroom is complete with over-bath shower, and the downstairs bathroom has a walk-in shower. Towels and robes are provided. We also provide gorgeous natural products by VERDEN, in full size bottles. If you would like to take them home you can purchase bottles from the Linhay.
Low wattage hairdryers are provided. As we generate our own electricity we request that you are mindful of excessive electrical use.
Please note we are not able to charge electric cars onsite. The nearest fast charging point can be found at the local BP petrol station, around 10 minutes from us.
Please remove muddy boots before entering, and leave in the utility room, along with any wet clothing.
There is a wifi TV in the living area, please free to log in to your preferred streaming service (just don't forget to log out when you leave!)
4G can be picked up across the reserve, but we do recommend you switch off and soak up the nature around you.
The Cottage has password access wifi.
The main living area has an effective gas fire. For Autumn and Winter stays the pilot light will be lit for you arrival, to turn it on and adjust the temperature, use the hidden dials underneath the right hand edge.
For evening toasting marshmallows you'll find the fire pit outside the french door. Wood, matches and firelighters are provided. Extra wood should you need it is stored behind the office in the courtyard (an honesty charge of £5 per extra bucket).
Children are very welcome at Elmley and in the Cottage. Please do let us know numbers and we'll set the house up with child friendly plates, cups and cutlery along with high chairs and cots. We can provide travel cots and high chairs if required. Please do ask if you would like anything before your stay.
