THE SETTING

The 3,300 acres of Elmley Nature Reserve’s untouched wilderness and breath-taking beauty offers a stunning backdrop to your big day, and the range of venue spaces allows an incredible bespoke celebration with your loved ones.

THE VENUE

Kingshill Farm sits in the heart of the huge Nature Reserve and is exclusively yours for your time here across three days and two nights. This gives you the opportunity to relax, enjoy and make the most of the time with your loved ones. Whether you’re dancing outside, partying in Kingshill Barn or opting for a more leisurely affair; Elmley is a place to gather with friends and family, without having to rush any elements of your most important celebration.

THE ACCOMMODATION

Our unique and award-winning accommodation sleeps 42 and includes the spectacular Kingshill Farmhouse, the stunning coastal vibes of Elmley Cottage & our 10 iconic glamping huts. With the inclusion of our Bell Tent village, you can sleep another 70 giving you the option to sleep up to 118 people at Kingshill Farm. We can also cater for all guests staying in accommodation to ensure you and your guests are well looked after during your stay with us.

We are here to guide you through your wedding journey from the time you book through to the day after. Our experienced team have a wealth of knowledge to assist and offer you both support, enabling your wedding to run seamlessly, and for your special celebration to be everything you imagined and more.

Weddings at Elmley are truly personal and bespoke. We believe your wedding should be about you. All elements can be expertly tailored to your needs and, with accommodation included, you can create a destination wedding that is completely yours.

We believe in being upfront with our wedding prices: All quoted prices include VAT and there are no hidden charges or corkage fees.

To enable exclusive hire of Kingshill Farm, we ask our onsite accommodation for 42 guests for 2 nights to be taken alongside your venue hire. This can be paid for with your venue hire or allocated to your guests to pay us directly. The average price per guest, per night is £125.93. Please see separate accommodation information pack for further breakdown of accommodation costings and additional catering options.

EXCLUSIVE HIRE

  • Exclusive use of Kingshill Farm at the heart of the private 3,300-acre National Nature Reserve. This runs from 3pm the day before your wedding, until 11am the day after your wedding (accommodation check out at 10:30am).
  • Seated capacity for up to 150 guests for a ceremony or blessing, drinks reception and wedding breakfast. Capacity for up to 200 guests for an evening reception.
  • Indoor and outdoor licensing for a civil marriage ceremony.
  • Use of the beautiful Elmley National Nature Reserve for your wedding photographs with incredible meadow, beach & wilderness views. This includes a half day pre-wedding shoot.
  • The magnificent Kingshill Barn until midnight on your wedding day.
  • No curfew - after midnight have an afterparty around our fire pit with marshmallow station and dedicated seating area for residential guests to keep that festival vibe going.
  • No corkage fee for daytime drinks.

EVENT SUPPORT

  • Our dedicated wedding team will provide guidance during your planning process; liaising directly with suppliers, pre-arranged access for meetings, a pre-wedding meeting, and supplier viewings in the run-up to your wedding day, on-the-day coordination and clear-up after the wedding.
  • The Elmley team will be on hand throughout your time at Kingshill Farm.
  • Arrive and relax. On your arrival evening we will run a bar for you and your guests.
  • Licensed evening bar for the wedding day; fully staffed and stocked with local products, can be run as a pay bar or account, 7-11:30pm.
  • We will organise your Welcome Party for you and your guests staying the night before the wedding.
  • The Elmley Wedding Planner – an in-detail guide to planning a wedding at Elmley with our carefully curated lists of incredible suppliers.

AND ALL THE OTHER ESSENTIALS

We have your reception furniture covered with a choice of round tables or vintage trestle tables, wooden folding & cross back chairs, sofas & vintage pieces, lighting, including lots of fairy and festoons

We provide almost everything else to ensure your guests are comfortable and the event is seamless, so you do not need to bring anything in or worry about the boring bits!

Including: An onsite kitchen space for your chosen wedding breakfast catering team, daytime drinks chilling, music system with built in speakers & a portable PA system with cordless mics, stocked bar, plenty of parking, loos and electricity!



ACCOMMODATION AT KINGSHILL FARM

During your time with us you will have the unique opportunity to stay overnight in a National Nature Reserve. Share your wedding with your nearest and dearest over two nights in our award-winning onsite accommodation.

All accommodation includes tea & coffee, towels, high-quality linen and luxury, natural bathroom products by VERDEN. For children, folding beds or travel cots, highchairs and toys can be provided upon request.

Full catering can be available for all guests staying onsite- this includes woodfired pizzas, a continental breakfast the morning of your wedding and a buffet breakfast the morning after your wedding served in Kingshill Barn.

We ask you to allocate the accommodation out to your guests, we will then contact them directly for payments six weeks before your special day. If you would like to cover accommodation costs yourselves, please do let us know.

Housekeeping services can be arranged throughout the accommodation if required. Please ask for further details.

BELL TENT VILLAGE

Create a festival vibe by taking our optional Bell Tent Village & spend your days at Elmley with all your friends and relatives. Our Bell Tent Village sleeps up to 70 people for one or two nights. The village has 10 luxury bell tents, sleeping 2 adults and 1 child, and 10 classic wedding bell tents, sleeping 1-4 people. The village has plenty of loos and showers, a dedicated dressing room for the morning of the wedding and a festoon lit bell tent village area with camp kitchen for teas and coffees.

The Bell Tents look amazing scattered around the hay meadows and around Kingshill Barn. By taking this additional accommodation, it allows more of your friends and family to stay if they wish to. All bookings can include full catering, so your guests are well looked after during their stay.

We provide a direct booking link to send out in your invitations and your guests book directly with us. We put tents and facilities up as required by your guests and share the booking updates with you.

WEDDING DAY CATERING

We believe food is a really important and individual part of your wedding so, to ensure your wedding is your own, we have a preferred list of full-service wedding caterers for you to choose from for your wedding day celebrations.

We know and trust these teams to deliver the perfect menu and service to you. Our team will work alongside your chosen catering team on the day to ensure a seamless service on the day so you can relax and enjoy your celebrations. Our selection of full service caterers offer a broad range of options to suit varied budgets and tastes so get in touch with them to start talking about your ideal menu and service style. All teams will provide all staffing, equipment, tableware, food and daytime drinks service.

Wedding Day Catering

EXTERNAL SUPPLIERS

We have a fantastic list of recommended suppliers that we have collected from our 10 years of hosting weddings, such as bands, photographers & florists. Please ask us for some recommendations to get you started and our planning pack covers all the details once you book.

REGISTRAR FEES

  • If you would like to hold your marriage here, there is a Civil Marriage Ceremony fee which is payable directly to A Kentish Ceremony, the Kent County Council Registrars. We will make a provisional booking for you upon confirmation with us and then they will be in touch with you directly for all other details.

EXTRA SERVICES

  • Bespoke activities including; private tours of the reserve, spa treatments and picnic hampers. These can be arranged as optional extras.
  • Any additional beds that are required and any room changeovers (with the exception of the Farmhouse rooms where a turndown will be provided on the day of the wedding).

Sleeping up to 12 guests across 6 bedrooms, including:

Four en-suite bedrooms on the first floor:

  • The Elmley Room – the Master Suite, Kingsize bed, huge en-suite with double shower and that free standing bath with a view
  • Pink Room- perfectly formed with stunning views. Super-Kingsize or twin beds. Partitioned off en-suite.
  • Yellow Room & Blue Room- Richly hued, characterful rooms. Super-Kingsize or twin beds. Large en-suite with walk in showers, free standing baths with a view

Two bedrooms on the second floor:

  • The Lookout- Super-Kingsize bed or Twin in calming interiors with a view, placed across a private landing from The Nest which features two single beds.

Our unique ten hand-crafted Shepherd’s Huts are in high demand, and often featured in national and lifestyle publications.

Our huts, handcrafted to our bespoke designs, each offer a unique experience and the only opportunity in England to stay overnight in a National Nature Reserve. The ten huts sleep up to 20 guests in total, based on two adults sharing each.

All with high-end finishes and en-suite bathrooms. Each hut is beautifully furnished and individually decorated by renowned interior designer Francesca Rowan-Plowden. All have private fire pits.

  • Martha’s Hut – Cabin with fully glazed side, kingsize bed, wood burner and large deck with freestanding outdoor bath
  • The Roost – Our largest hut – sofa, wood burner, kingsize bed, fully glazed end, deck with freestanding outdoor tub
  • James’ Hide – Cabin with fully glazed side, kingsize bed wood burner and freestanding outdoor bath
  • The Isle – Cabin with unique sloped design and glazed end, kingsize bed, wood burner and freestanding outdoor bath
  • Three Large Shepherd’s Huts – The Damson, The Saltbox and The Ferryman’s – kingsize beds, fully glazed ends, and outdoor freestanding baths
  • Vanellus – floor to ceiling window from a kingsize bed, modern rustic style, large deck with outdoor bath
  • Two Traditional Shepherd’s Huts – romantic hideaways, double beds with a view and wood burners
